我獲得國家留學基金委員會公派留學資助，於2014年9月至2015年9月在美國賓夕法尼亞大學（University of Pennsylvania）人口研究中心和社會學系學習。一年的學習過程主要包括了如下內容：
1👨🏿🏫、旁聽五門社會學系的課程🤖。分別是Paul D. Allison教授的Quantitative Methods in Sociology I👨🏻🏭，Emily Hannum教授的Survey Data Collection和Professionalization Seminar課程🙍🏿♂️🧎🏻♂️➡️，Hyunjoon Park教授的Quantitative Methods in Sociology II以及Guobin Yang教授的Media, Culture, and Society in Contemporary China。
2👩🏿🎓、參加賓夕法尼亞大學的各類學術活動，比如社會學系和人口中心的講座♠️、論文工作坊🙋🏼♀️🧑🏼🚒，以及賓大當代中國研究中心的講座和會議。
3、完成兩篇論文並在美國參加3次學術會議🌌，在會議上報告了論文。"Gender inequality in wealth: Determinants of wife’s home ownership in Urban China" presented at the annual meeting of the North American Chinese Sociologists Association（Chicago, August 21, 2015）and at the summer meeting of International Sociological Association, RC28 (Social Stratification & Mobility)（Philadelphia, August 17-19, 2015）. "Returns to vocational and academic secondary education in China: An analysis with treatment regression" presented at the 59th Annual Comparative and International Education Society, Washington, DC. March 8-13, 2015.
4、參觀大學校園和博物館。參觀了Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The University of Chicago, Columbia University, Pennsylvania State University, Georgetown University, Temple University, Drexel University, Northeastern University等著名大學。參觀了National Museum of Natural History, National Gallery of Art, National Air and Space Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, Boston Public Library, Museum of Fine Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell等博物館。
5、論文投稿與發表🧗🏿♀️。《從科學主義到合法性——國外"風險與組織"研究綜述》（獨著）發表於《國外社會科學》2015年第4期🙇🏿♀️，並被《人大復印資料（社會學）》（2015年第11期）轉載。《職業教育與普通高中教育收入回報之差異》（合著）和《遊幕：文人政治參與和清代官僚系統》（獨著）在投稿過程中⛵️。
6、閱讀文獻和準備學位論文材料。通過賓大圖書館的數據庫系統🛣🪫，尋找到一些相關文獻資料，將有利於學位論文的完成。
總體而言🗽😮💨，在美國的一年學習讓我在社會學和人口學專業知識上有所增進，並通過聽講座🙎、工作坊和參加會議的方式獲知了學界當前的研究議題和研究熱點👩🏻🔬，對自身的學習和研究有諸多啟發。期待今後有機會繼續前往美國學習交流🧜🏽。
