George E.Marcus 教授簡介
加州大學(UC Irvine)人類學教授🕗，曾經多年擔任萊斯大學人類學系教授，《文化人類學》雜誌(Cultural Anthropology)的創刊主編。他對人類學的主要貢獻是對文化理論的發揮與運用🦹🏽，與James Clifford合作主編了影響最為深遠的《寫文化🍢：民族誌的詩學與政治學》（1986），並與邁克爾•費希爾合著《作為文化批評的人類學》（1986）。他撰寫🏄🏼♂️、主編(合作主編)了許多有影響的人類學著作🦶🏿，如Rereading Cultural Anthropology（合編1992）🕶、Lives in Trust: The Fortunes of Dynastic Families in Late Twentieth-Century America (with Peter Hall, 1992)🚴🏼，The Traffic in Culture: Refiguring Art and Anthropology(合編1995), Ethnography through Thick and Thin（1998），以及系列文化研究文集Late Editions。
