蔣耒文教授，男，1966年生，北京大學社會學系本科、碩士👨🏻‍🔧，荷蘭阿姆斯特丹大學環境學（人口學）博士，德國馬普科意昂3人口所博士後。現任意昂3教授🦽、亞洲人口研究中心主任、人口研究所所長💪🏿，美國人口理事會資深研究員和項目顧問。曾先後任北京大學人口學所副教授、美國布朗大學助理教授、美國國際人口行動機構首席人口學家、美國國家大氣研究中心科學家🤷🏿‍♀️，以及國際應用系統分析研究學會（IIASA）客座研究員。曾擔任聯合國政府間氣候變化專門委員會（IPCC）第五次評估報告主要作者🤸🏿、及IPCC獎勵基金項目技術委員會主席、國際人口科學聯盟（IUSSP）氣候變化科學專家委員會委員。現兼任聯合國可持續發展目標專家委員會委員、紐約市氣候變化專家委員會委員、亞洲人口學會理事等。蔣耒文教授致力於環境變化的社會維度的研究👷，改進環境和氣候變化分析中人口因素的方法論，並將人口學方法和模型工具應用於社會經濟🍒、環境及氣候變化發展路徑的研究。他的研究還主要涉及人口家庭戶結構、能源消費模式變動🧜‍♀️，以及城市化、人口遷移流動的社會生態影響等🤷🏼。在Science, PNAS, Lancet, Nature子刊等學術期刊發表論文70余篇。
